Description
An innovative concept in high-performance design, the LFC-210im combines the sophistication of PRO digital technology with designer friendly style. The novel “Invisible Mount™” system allows the larger speaker enclosure to be hidden inside the wall, leaving only the smaller driver area to be covered by a stealthy frameless grille. Fitting comfortably into a standard 2 x 4 stud bay, the enclosure houses an integral mud-ring that adjust to fit varying depths of sheetrock up to a double 5/8th thickness. The mud-ring provides a surface against which the drywall can be cut and finished for a clean, unobtrusive look. Once installed, the perforated metal grilles can be painted to match the surrounding environment, making the speaker nearly “invisible.”
Beyond mere stylish design, the LFC-210im employs two shallow format 10-inch woofers driven by powerful neodymium motor systems. Each driver terminates to its own set of binding posts, allowing multiple units to be configured for higher impedance and driven in parallel from a single high-powered amplifier channel. As with all PRO subwoofer designs, the LFC-210im and companion DPA amplifier employ sophisticated Digital Signal Processing (DSP) for all crossover functions and high resolution frequency response shaping. With a maximum output of 114dB, the LFC-210im is the perfect solution for distributed audio and limited home theater applications.
